Surf Shack Subs & Smoothies - 916 SE 5th Ave. Delray Beach, FL

Mike the owner was very friendly and personable.   The Cuban Sandwich was totally awesome.  I would recommend this place for sure.  The subs are made fresh with excellent ingredients.   Give this shop a chance, it kills all of the other sub shops around!

The Quesadilla was average at best.  We ordered take out food and when I opened the box it had One Quesadilla some hot sauce and refried beans.  No Sour cream or guacamole.  The taste was good but very plain.

The Smoked Chicken Wings with a side of hot sauce were EPIC.  I really liked the flavor and the kick of the Hot sauce was all that I needed.  I would love to try the BBQ and I will be back!  The space is nice and welcoming and I could bet that the bar gets packed for happy hour and evenings.  I went on a Thursday afternoon and it was a good crowd.  I think the only drawback was that they could of had a second waiter.  Nevertheless, it was a great experience.

Five Guys Burger's and Fries 571 Linton Blvd, Delray Beach, FL

This location is CLEAN! I enjoyed seeing the workers all pitching in to clean the restaurant when I was there.  They were up on a ladder cleaning the high parts of the restaurant.  The clerk was polite and the chef made the burgers right in front of me and he was very attentive to making me feel welcome.  Good food for me and my other two co-workers.  I would give this place a solid 4 stars.

HiWay Burger 12 SE 5th Ave Delray Beach, FL 33483

The Burgers are Fresh!  The meat is never frozen.  I really enjoyed my single with cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and pickles.  This place knows how o make good burgers.  The house spread is a thousand island sauce so make sure that you like that before you put it on your burger.  The store was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was great.  I will be back.

Pollo Tropical - 14683 S Military Trail - Delray Beach

The chef's are not my friends, clients or  audience.  I am here for you, Good Food is Good Food! I will uncover it for you from the gas station's to the swanky new restaurant's. 

Today we will be writing about Pollo Tropical on 14683 S Military Trail in Delray Beach. 

Today I ordered at the drive-thru. One TropiChop with Chicken that I ordered loaded.  It came with Tomatoes • Kernel Corn • Sautéed Onions • White Rice •  Sautéed Peppers and Onions.   I added a drink and it came to $8.07 with tax.  The rice and beans were cooked to perfection.  I have nothing bad to say about the chicken or toppings either.  This meal was quick, easy and affordable.  The only advice that I have for you is to go before the lunch rush or right after.  I waited in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes.  It was worth the wait. One thing that I did see was that splattered on the wall, under the sink, next to the register had some ketchup looking drips.  Otherwise the place looked very clean.
